Kar-La is a seer born in Megiddo, a world with a matriarchal society. She is the eldest daughter from a long line of seers and witches of the white variety. Her ancestresses have all been rulers as is her fate to be. She has been training all her life to influence the outcome of this battle between good and evil that has arisen. She has the ability to open portals and travel to the worlds that she sees in her visions.
Her familiar is a cat named Annde, aka "Winky", with whom she shares an empathic and telepathic relationship. She possesses a magic bag that always contains the items needed in her travels, an amber rod with magical powers and a knowledge of herbs, elixirs, potions and mushrooms, some that affect and augment magiks, the mind, and even the body. She is an accomplished archer.
